What we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have.
Westlake Medical Aesthetics (“we,” “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle the personal information you share with us through our website, westlaketxmedspa.com (the “Site”), and when you contact us by phone or email.
This policy covers information collected through the Site. Information you give us as a patient while receiving care is governed by our separate Notice of Privacy Practices under HIPAA. You can get a copy at our office or by asking us.

Information you give us
We collect the information you choose to give us, for example when you:
- Request a consultation, in person or by video
- Ask about a treatment, our membership or financing
- Send us photos ahead of a virtual consultation
- Fill in patient forms before your first visit
- Call us, email us or message us on social media
This can include your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, date of birth, the concerns and goals you describe, and anything else you decide to tell us.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect some information about your device and how you use the Site, including:
- Your IP address and approximate location
- Browser type, operating system and device identifiers
- Pages visited, time spent on them and the page that sent you here
- Information from cookies and similar technologies (see section 06)
Health-related information
If you send photos of your face or skin, or describe a concern, we handle that information with the same care as any patient health information. Please don’t send detailed medical histories or other sensitive health information through website forms, social media messages or unencrypted email. 02How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Answer your questions and schedule consultations and appointments
- Assess whether a treatment suits you, prepare your treatment plan and coordinate your care
- Provide the treatments you ask for
- Send appointment confirmations and reminders, aftercare instructions and follow-ups
- Set up and manage your membership, if you join
- Take payments and help you with financing options
- Send news about treatments and offers, but only if you have agreed to receive it
- Improve the Site, our services and your experience with us
- Meet our legal, regulatory and professional obligations
04Third-party services
Some features of the Site are provided by other companies. These may include:
- Financing providers such as Cherry and CareCredit, whose applications you complete on their own websites
- Google Maps, for directions to our office
- Google Business Profile, where our patient reviews are published
- Instagram and TikTok, where we post updates
- A video platform for virtual consultations
- Web analytics services, such as Google Analytics, that show us how visitors use the Site
These companies may collect information about you under their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to read them.
05Membership and payments
If you join our membership, we collect the details needed to enrol you, charge the recurring payment and keep your account up to date. Card payments are handled by our payment processor, and we don’t store full card numbers on the Site. The terms of your membership are set out in the membership agreement you sign.
06Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small data file saved on your device when you visit a website. We and our service providers may use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Keep the Site working and secure
- Remember your preferences
- Understand how visitors find and use the Site

Your medical record is governed by HIPAA and Texas law, which may limit our ability to delete or change clinical records.
08How we protect your information
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your personal information. However, no website, internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. To protect yourself, please don’t send confidential health information through website forms, social media or unencrypted email.
09How long we keep it
We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, to meet our legal and professional obligations, to resolve disputes and to enforce our agreements. Medical records are kept for as long as Texas law and the Texas Medical Board require.
10Children’s privacy
The Site is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think a child has sent us information through the Site, contact us and we will delete it.
11Links to other websites
The Site links to websites we don’t control, including our social media profiles, review sites, our financing partners and Stone Surgical Arts, a separate practice. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, so please read their policies before you share information with them.
